When you enter Slate’s Restaurant, you’ll feel the New Orleans vibes from the décor, and the handsome bar top with exposed brick adds to the ambiance. Take a seat and start off with classics you’d find in good old NOLA, such as raw oysters on the half shell, Oysters Lafayette, Crab Cakes, and NOLA Cajun Shrimp—just to name a few! Other starts include a selection of crisp salads, along with New Orleans classics like Cajun Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee, and Red Beans and Rice.
Move onward to entrees, and you’ll have your choice of expertly prepared dishes that will bring the flavors of New Orleans right to your table in Cape Coral. Try the Louisiana Shrimp and Cheese Grits—five Gulf shrimp, sauteed in a tomato and minced Andouille sausage sauce. Or try something like the New Orleans Alfredo—chicken, Andouille sausage, Gulf shrimp, onion, and red and green peppers, with an alfredo sauce blended with Cajun spices in mild, medium, or not. There’s also a Catch of the Day dish, and many other entrée options!
