Trunk or Treat
Ask any child what their favorite part of Halloween is and we are sure they will say it’s about getting all the candy from trick-or-treating. Finding a spot to trick or treat when you are vacationing can be difficulty especially if you have never been to this city before. Luckily for you, there will be a safe and welcoming trick or treat event the weekend leading up to Halloween. Stop by Cultural Park located at Cape Coral City Hall for the annual Truck or Treat event. Children are encouraged to show up in their best Halloween costumes and trick or treat around the park. The event is free for anyone to attend. After the trick-or-treating is over stick around for a movie in the park with the Nightmare Before Christmas being shown this year; make sure to bring some lawn chairs as the park does not have any formal seating in the grass. Trick or treating starts at 6:00 PM with other fun games and excitement with the movie starting at 7:00 PM.
Halloween Ball
Halloween is not just a holiday for the children but for the adults as well. If you find yourself in Cape Coral early for the Halloween holiday, make sure to attend this year’s Halloween Ball taking place at Freedom Park. This Halloween event is for adults who are ages 21 and up. Show up in your best costume for the costume contest and dance the night away to Halloween songs like Thriller and many more. A live DJ will be on hand to play the hottest tracks for a spooky night out. The event is BYOB so bring your favorite beer or wine to enjoy through the festivities. Halloween Ball takes place on Saturday October 21st at 7:00 PM.
Trick or Treat at Gulf Coast Town Center
Another great spot nearby that will be offering a trick or treat event for the kids the weekend leading up to Halloween is Trick or Treat. This event will be held at the Gulf Coast Town Center at our neighbors of Fort Myers a short drive away. The event will have all the fun including the annual trick or treating from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM that evening. Stick around afterwards for the costume contest starting at 7:00 PM where you can find free prizes for the best dressed in a variety of age categories! Additional activities found at the event include having a balloon artist making incredible balloon animals, face painting, and roaming characters. Pre-registration is required for the costume contest but not the event. The event will benefit Community Cooperative and will be taking monetary and dry food donations during the event. Don’t miss out on this trick or treat event taking place on Saturday October 28th starting at 5:00 PM!
