Holiday Tree and Menorah Lighting
No Christmas season is complete without a holiday tree lighting ceremony. If you happen to be in Cape Coral early for the holiday you can enjoy the Holiday Tree & Menorah Lighting Celebration at Cape Coral City Hall on November 30th. The mayor and city council will light up the oversized tree and you can also expect a visit from The Grinch himself. Local food trucks and vendors will be on hand along with Santa and live holiday music. This free event will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Holiday Boat-A-Long
The best part of being on the coast is that you can enjoy unique events not available in landlocked states. This includes the annual Holiday Boat-A-Long taking place on the third Saturday of December. Head over to Four Freedoms Park where Santa Claus and his elves will be hanging out on the Bimini Basin. As the name suggests you will enjoy a festive boat parade right on the water as watercraft vehicles are decorated with holiday lights and decorations. Local food trucks will be on hand selling delicious food along with live stage entertainment, a meet and greet with Santa Claus, and a free movie screening of The Polar Express in the park after the parade. The festivities start at 4:00 PM so do not miss out on the fun!
Holiday Festival of Lights
The events do not stop there here in Cape Coral so make sure to find all of the Christmas events to attend including the Holiday Festival of Lights. This year’s event will take place on December 2nd at Cape Coral Parkway where you will find over 30 years of experience of fun for the community. The Holiday Festival of Lights is another great way to kick off the holiday season with fun for all. This local festival brings out the fun for kids of all ages with attractions such as the Snow Drift Slide, Tiny Tots Train, and even pictures with Santa Claus himself. They will also find bounce houses, rock climbing walls, and more. Three stages of live entertainment will be on hand to keep the fun going too. The Holiday Festival of Lights will take place from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on December 2nd so make sure to get here early to join in on the local fun.
